Synchronizing pocket pc having wm2003 with windows vista should be very easy, but after trying it, it is the opposite.
If you are using bluetooth, you have no problem to establish a connection between the device and your computer. But after opening Windows Mobile Device Center, which replaces Activesync in older versions of windows, you can clearly see that the device is not connected. No matter what you do, you will not be able to fix this problem.
The sole manual way to solve this is to open:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS CE Services
Change the Data of “SerialPort” to the com port that you are using.
For example, if you are using COM6 to establish a serial port, replace the word ‘bluetooth’ to ‘COM6′.
After this change, you can start directly using Windows Mobile Device center as the previous versions of ActiveSync.
